His heart is broken because he misses his Auntie Nicole.
My cute little Noah is going in for heart surgery today.

When he was born they noticed a slight murmur, and since then have found three other defects. While they had initially hoped he would outgrow some of the problems, the doctors decided they need to operate. Because of his heart defects he hasn’t been gaining weight (nearly 8 months and weighs barely 14 lbs) and hasn’t hit developmental milestones like rolling over and sitting up.
They’re hoping to be able to repair his patent ductus arteriosus defect and two of the atrial septal defects through a cardiac catheterization, and will only perform open-heart surgery if they have to. We’re keeping our fingers crossed!
Send some good thoughts and prayers our way!
Poor guy, I’ll be praying for him.
I hope the surgery goes well, Nicole! I had two nephews born very premature this year, so I know how hard it is to see little babies go through surgery. I’ll be sending prayers his way!
he is absolutely adorable. I can tell how your heart must be aching, sending good vibes, prayers and wishes your way.

Oh PDA! My nephew had that also! ‘Cept his doc let it go on until he was 5! He’d get so tired from playing, he’d have to take several naps. They did the cath also and inserted a coil with fibers that helped catch the blood and then it formed a wall on it’s own.
Anyway, prayers, good thoughts, and positive Karma your way girl. I can’t wait to hear that all is well!
