Patricia Strong Griggs “Beloved Mother”

Patricia Strong Griggs, 76, passed away November 15, 2009 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born February 18, 1933 in Ogden, Utah, daughter of LeRoy Hobson and Gladys Evelyn Taylor Strong. Married Jay P. Griggs November 24, 1982. She loved her family and was a devoted member of the LDS Church. In her youth she was a champion Equestrian and shared a deep love of horses with her father. She had a passion for cooking, quilting, gardening, history and books. She was known, at the Old Farm Community, as the flower lady. Survived by children: James Craig Lyman, Robert David Lyman, Stephen Francis Lyman, Douglas Edward Lyman, Linda Brown, Laura Bledsoe; 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers: Richard “Dick” Strong and David Strong. Preceded in death by husband and sister, Evelyn Strong. Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 20, 2009.

I love and will miss you, Grandma.
